Upholstery & Curtains
Sofa & Curtain Cleaning
Upholstery and curtains cleaned in place, so your room stays a room, not a workshop. Sofas, armchairs and curtains are treated on location, with no need to take anything down or send fabric away.
Why Choose This Service
What you get with Sofa & Curtain Cleaning
Cleaned In Place
Sofas, armchairs and curtains are treated where they hang or sit — nothing needs taking down, dismantling or carrying out to a van.
Fabric-Matched Treatment
Cleaning method matched to the upholstery or curtain fabric — velvet, linen, wool and synthetic weaves are all treated differently to protect colour and texture.
Minimal Disruption
Most rooms are back in use the same day, once fabrics have had time to dry, so you're not living without your sofa for a week.
Our Process
How sofa & curtain cleaning works at Chambio
Tested first, cleaned carefully, with your room disrupted as little as possible.
Fabric Assessment
We check the fabric type and construction of your sofa, armchair or curtains before choosing a method.
Test Patch
A small, hidden area is tested first to check for colourfastness before the full clean goes ahead.
Clean In Place
The full piece is cleaned on location using the method matched to that fabric.
Dry & Refresh
Fabric is left to dry, refreshed and groomed, with the room usually back in use the same day.

Questions
Sofa & Curtain Cleaning FAQs
Do curtains need to be taken down?
Usually not — most curtains are cleaned in place. Very delicate or heavily lined fabrics sometimes clean better taken down to our premises, and we'll tell you if that's the case when we assess them.
Are leather sofas covered by this service?
Leather upholstery is treated through our dedicated leather & suede care service, which uses specialist conditioning products rather than fabric cleaning methods.
How often should I get upholstery cleaned?
As a general guide, once or twice a year for everyday household use, or more often in homes with pets, young children, or heavy daily use.
Can you treat pet odours and allergens?
Yes, odour treatment is included as part of the standard clean, and we can pay extra attention to allergen-prone areas if you let us know when booking.
